Breathwork is an essential practice for supporting somatic change.

Kerry has worked with the breath as an osteopath for many years, but she is also trained in many modalities of CCB breathwork. These include BBTRS biodynamic bodywork and trauma release system, Inspirational Breathing and Breathguru and has experience with other modalities such as Alchemy of Breath and Integrative Breath.

Conscious Connected Breathwork is the art of breathing deliberately, without a significant pause between the inhale and exhale. The aim is to connect you to your innate wisdom and body intelligence. The breath is consciously chosen so that there are no gaps in the cycle of breathing.

By becoming embodied, by being a master of your physical body and understanding your emotions old and new,  by bearing witness to the wonder of your being, breath enables you to release deep held beliefs, anxieties and tensions on many levels. The breath may also clarify issues and enables creative thoughts to manifest and joy to be experienced.

Kerry has created the OsteoBreathe  concept. This is the integration of Osteopathy and manual bodywork with Breathwork. It is a very powerful holistic treatment to affect a profound change and bring you into a state of balance making a shift in your emotional, mental, spiritual and physical state and bringing your metabolism into homeostasis.

She offers breathwork sessions purely using the BBTRS model for stress, anxiety and trauma release, Inspirational Breathing that includes yoga movements, Breathguru which aims to inspire your higher spiritual consciousness and Alchemy of Breath for a deeper connection, these being based on the transformational breathing model.

Kerry teaches bodywork and touch to breathwork students, alongside Keli Carpenter of the TOSA method.

Kerry is an active mentor for students at the BBTRS Institute, for their online trainings and in person as well as for Inspirational Breathing students.

Breathwork Modalities


BBTRS

Biodynamic Breathwork and Trauma Release System by Giten Tonkov. 

This system uses the concepts of Breath, Meditation, Movement, Touch, Sound, Emotional Expression, Felt Sense, Resonance, Pendulation, Titration based on the Reichian belts of tension. You will be coached through these belts of tension in a systematic way to help release any trauma that may be retained in yourself. The BBTRS system is recognised by the Australian Breathwork Assoc, the International Breath Foundation and Global Professional Breathwork Alliance.

Inspirational Breathwork

Uses the concepts of Breath, Touch, Movement, Affirmations, Sound, Triggers and Emotions. You will be coached through these concepts in a systematic way similar to the chakra system in yoga, to help you explore and deepen all aspects of your life. You will be able to integrate this breathwork modality as a practice in your daily life.

Breathguru

This breathwork is based on the Transformational Breathwork principle. The sessions are very calm and gentle but powerful. The aim is to get yourself connected to your breath, your inner self whether it be memories from the past or a deeper connection to source. The session is practiced either sitting propped up or lying down and we use sounds and gentle movements to increase the energy of the breath for clearance.  You will be able to practice this at home to deepen your change.
